The Unemployment Insurance (UI) provisions, as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, reauthorize and extend three temporary unemployment benefits created under the CARES Act: Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC), Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), and Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC).
